We are continuously developing digital solutions for production, quality assurance and AI-supported data analysis as part of national and European funding programs for innovation and research as well as self-financed projects. Using visual inspection before and after the steaming process, the AI continuously improves steaming parameters such as robot trajectories, pressure, timing and zone priorities, significantly reducing ramp-up time while improving product quality and process stability.<\/span><\/p><p><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS',sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">The project builds on SCIIL&#8217;s proven AI VISION platform for automated visual quality inspection and represents the next step from AI-based defect detection to AI-driven process optimization for automotive manufacturing.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Project value is EUR 172.500, of which EUR 138.000 from EU support.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The project is co-financed by the European Union.<\/span><\/p><h2>SCIIL BALTIC UAB implements the &#8220;REPORTIO II&#8221; Research, SCIIL is developing a modular AI visual inspection solution that integrates industrial camera systems, edge processing, server architecture and a central data and application platform.<br><br>The core of the research activities is the development of innovative deep learning models for the detection of complex, variable defect images - for example wrinkles, material deformations, soiling or assembly deviations. Both dynamic defect patterns (e.g. position-dependent defects) and static characteristics are analyzed.The technological challenge lies in particular in:the development of robust training methods for widely varying production conditions,the real-time processing of large amounts of image data,scalability to different camera types and OEM environments,and integration into existing production, MES and quality management systems.<br><br>The project is developing prototypes, implementing pilot installations and continuously optimizing algorithms.
