Visual inspections in product audits with SCIIL VI
With the Visual Inspection (VI) module, defects can be marked directly on product images. The system supports a variant-specific display and enables input via touchscreens on smartphones or tablets. At the same time, the solution documents affected areas and components in a structured manner and clearly displays the results at rework stations. In addition, a statistical analysis enables the visualization of visual defects in the form of heat maps, so that the distribution of defects on the product image can be clearly and comprehensibly identified.
Measuring product audits with SCIIL MA – SPC light
The Measurement Audit (MA) is a slimmed-down SPC solution for product-specific measurements designed for mobile recording and supplements classic SPC analyses. Inspection plans contain defined target values and tolerances so that the system immediately detects tolerance violations, displays deviations and visualizes NOK characteristics specifically at rework stations.
At the same time, all recorded measured values are fully available for statistical evaluations and classic SPC analyses. The software supports online process monitoring with pp and ppk key figures and offers an interface to QS-STAT. In addition, the system generates serial number-related reports that fully document all measurements. This allows deviations to be detected at an early stage and process stability to be monitored in the long term.

Open and NOK rated inspections as well as defects of a serial number are clearly displayed in the system. Only when all characteristics have been reworked and confirmed does the serial number automatically switch to “OK” status. In this way, the system ensures that no product leaves the line as long as there are still open defects.
Traceability
The traceability function displays inspection results both vertically and horizontally. Vertically, the system shows all results for a single serial number, while the horizontal view brings together all products with specific faults, defects or rework. At the same time, the inspection results from all mobile and stationary inspection stations are immediately available, ensuring continuous and seamless traceability.
Dashboards: The KPIs are visualized online
