Next Innovation Step for SCIIL Digital Audit Solutions
AI Assistant for Mobile Audits
As part of the next release, SCIIL will expand its proven SCIIL eLPA platform with a new feature in the field of AI Audit Software.
The new functionality is designed to support auditors directly on the shopfloor when performing audits on smartphones or tablets. Instead of typing every response manually, the auditor simply takes a photo while completing the audit. The AI assistant then analyzes the captured image and the previous answers to these questions.
Based on this information, the system provides its OK / NOK evaluation and suggests the text for the finding description.
The auditor always remains in control and can accept, edit, or reject each proposal while the system assures faster and more consistent documentation.
Smart Audit Learns from Experience
The system learns from previous audits and from historical answers to comparable LPA questions. In addition, corrected or rejected suggestions help continuously improve future recommendations.
With every use, the mobile audit assistant becomes smarter and helps preserve valuable know-how across plants, teams, and shifts.
Less Effort – More Consistency in the Audit Process
Especially in first-layer audits, employees often have different levels of experience, technical knowledge, communication skills, and confidence in documentation tasks. This is where the new AI for auditing creates clear operational value:
- less manual data entry
- more standardized audit reports
- knowledge transfer across shifts and plants
- faster onboarding of new auditors
- higher quality audit documentation
SCIIL further strengthens its position in the field of AI for auditing, digital shopfloor audits, and practical software innovation for manufacturing companies.
Continuous Improvement with Human Expertise
The auditor always keeps full control. The system supports people – it does not replace them. Expert-edited or rejected proposals flow into a learning process. As a result, future suggestions become more accurate and image interpretations more reliable over time.
AI does not replace the auditor in Layered Process Audits. Instead, it acts as a powerful digital assistant that accelerates audit workflows and helps companies move from pure defect control toward a proactive quality culture.
With this next development step, SCIIL brings practical artificial intelligence directly into daily audit operations.
