SCIIL SCRAP For Cost Control & Full Transparency Of Scrap Causes

Scrap is one of the biggest cost drivers in manufacturing. With SCIIL scrap management software, manufacturing companies maintain full visibility of scrap quantities, costs and root causes at all times. The SCIIL SCRAP module records scrap parts directly at the production line using a touchscreen, barcode scanner or mobile device, for example during temporary quality issues.

At the same time, the system automatically calculates the resulting scrap costs and visualizes all relevant KPIs in online dashboards. As a result, up-to-date information is always available, and manual evaluations or additional Excel spreadsheets are no longer necessary.

The structured input is particularly practical, because if a NOK part contains a damaged component, this can be specifically booked as a scrap component while the main part continues to be used.
