01. Is SCIIL eLPA available as a SaaS solution or only as an on-premises installation?
Yes, SCIIL eLPA is available both as a classic on-premises solution and as a SaaS model. Customers can choose whether to operate the solution on their own infrastructure or use it via the SCIIL Cloud.
02. Can audit and issue management modules be combined?
Absolutely. Our issue management works across all modules and can be linked directly with findings from eLPA, 5S, Gemba Walks, and other SCIIL audits – including action tracking, escalation management, and reporting.
03. Can SCIIL be integrated with existing ERP systems (e.g., SAP)?
Yes. SCIIL provides standardized interfaces to common ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or proALPHA. Custom integrations can also be implemented by our experienced project team.
04. Does SCIIL support integration with production lines and machine control systems?
Yes. The SCIIL MES supports integration with existing automation and control systems – for example via OPC UA, MQTT, or directly with controllers such as Siemens S7, Rockwell, or legacy systems like Siemens S5.
05. Can our existing line automation (PLC) be integrated with SCIIL?
Yes. Our solutions are designed for practical integration into production lines – including connections to PLCs, IO-Link devices, or industrial PCs. Our engineering team supports you during implementation.
06. How flexible is SCIIL when modeling individual processes?
SCIIL was designed to adapt to your processes – not the other way around. All modules are highly configurable and can be extended through customization if required.
07. Can external partners or suppliers be integrated into the SCIIL system?
Yes. SCIIL provides controlled access for external users – for example for BI dashboards, reporting, or supplier collaboration.
08. How quickly can a SCIIL project be started?
Thanks to preconfigured modules and experienced project teams, a productive start is usually possible within a few weeks – depending on the project scope and required integrations.
